Exam Dates & Centers

The Goethe‑Institut conducts internationally accepted German exams (Goethe‑Zertifikat A1–C2, TestDaF etc.) at multiple locations across India. You can register only through the official Goethe website or directly at the centres.

These centres usually offer exams from A1 to C2 levels and sometimes digital exam options too.

TELC (The European Language Certificates) is another internationally recognized exam system accepted for study, immigration and professional purposes. This centre conducts TELC exams across different levels (A1–C2) in India. As TELC locations vary (and may expand), check availability on the official telc network before booking.

ÖSD exams are issued by the Austrian authorities and are globally recognized, including by German and Austrian embassies. This centre conducts monthly exams from A1–B2 (and possibly higher levels) with certificates accepted for visas, study, work or immigration. ÖSD has a global network with licensed centres, so additional exam cities in India may exist depending on active partnerships.

Always register through the official exam provider (Goethe / TELC / ÖSD) — third‑party bookings can be fraudulent or invalid. Goethe exam slots are highly competitive and often fill up fast — multiple attempts or flexible centres can help secure a date. Check whether the certificate level you need (e.g., B1 for Ausbildung, A1 for visa) is offered at your chosen centre before booking.
